You probably know what a Procreate stamp is, but if you don’t – well, it is a Procreate brush, just like any other, but with a specific shape. The shape of the brush could be anything from a flower to a dinosaur. The biggest advantage of the Procreate stamp brush is that it saves you so much time when you draw. Just think, instead of copying and pasting an object you can easily create it again with just one touch.
In this tutorial, we will go through how to use a stamp brush in Procreate, how to change its size and opacity, and will come up with a beautiful design using only stamp brushes.

How to change the size of the stamp
One of the advantages of the Procreate stamp is that you can easily adjust its size depending on your illustration. You can change the size in two ways: using the brush size slider on a sidebar or a Transform tool.
Sidebar slider
You can use the Sidebar brush size slider to change the size of a stamp. Simply, chose a stamp brush, and then, before drawing, adjust the slider to the desired size. As you can see it is no different from when you use a regular Procreate brush.
Transform tool
Another way to change the size of a stamp is by using the Transform tool. Transform tool is located at the top under the little arrow icon and it allows you to stretch and move your object for fast and easy edits. It is not my favorite way to resize because the quality could be compromised, but if you do a slight change it will work.
To change the size of a stamp, simply click on the Transform tool and you will see that your stamp will be taken into the frame. Now, choose Uniform in the menu below (that way you will preserve the original image proportions). Well, all you have to do now is to scale it to the desired size.
How to change the color of a stamp
Another thing you can do to your stamp is to change its color. To do that, go to Colors and pick a color you want. Now simply recolor your stamp. This is very easy but brings you so many opportunities to create beautiful art.
